The Body of Language and the Motion of Words explores the tangible and the digital, and the physical and abstract qualities of visual imagery. A 5-channel video cube shows imagery of the exhibition space as if it were a mirrored box. Hands enter the frames of the video and begin folding a paper airplane. Each side of the cube reveals a different perspective, creating a total and fragmented view of the gesture. At the end of the video, the paper airplane is thrown out of the video frame(s) in the direction of an unframed photograph lying on the exhibition floor, depicting an image of the paper airplane.
